The Press Launch Of The 2012 Lanvin Eyewear Collection

On October 25th and 27th, De Rigo Vision and the Lanvin Maison presented to the press their first eyewear collection for men and women in the Lanvin Boutiques in Paris and in Milan.

In the presence of Alber Elbaz, the creative mind behind the brand and the eyewear collection, top fashion editors of the most important fashion and trade magazines were able to admire and don the models of this exclusive line of sunglasses which, in keeping with the unmistakable style of the Maison, combines couture details with industrial aesthetics and with a mix of both retro and contemporary features.

Screws, nails and studs are expertly matched with precious materials such as horn, leather, crystals and stones, while metal frames featuring bronze or gunmetal antique nuances. The geometric shapes of styles, either round or square, are reinvented in a palette of colours that is particularly rich in contrasts and shades. Havana, black, ivory, grey-green, rust and natural horn streaks are the main hues of the collection. As the latest couture detail,  the collection proposes the Lanvin logo handcrafted by Alber Elbaz and engraved on the gradient lenses.
